Jogo and Uraume are two battle royale bosses that were added in the Season 5 update of Grand Piece Online (GPO). They offer curses for anyone who can claim them. Below, we’ll show you exactly what that means and how it works.

How Do Curses Work In Grand Piece Online (GPO)

In the Battle Royale Mode of Grand Piece Online (GPO), curses give players a boost but also reveal their location on the map. This means that while a player may become significantly stronger, they also become a target for other players. Once afflicted with a curse, it cannot be removed unless the player is killed, so deciding to take on a boss becomes a big decision. Every curse is passive, so there’s nothing you need to do after you get one.

Jogo offers the lava curse, which causes extra attacks to do a percentage of maximum health damage, making it effective against tanks. On the other hand, Uraume offers the ice curse, which makes targets vulnerable after being hit with one of the player’s attacks, causing them to receive more damage from all sources, not just from the player.

Beating them will take a lot of work, so make sure you at least have a V2 fighting style ready or the Inverted Spear of Heaven..

If a player with a curse is killed by another player, they will drop the curse. The other player can then choose to pick up the curse or leave it behind, determining whether the cycle continues.
