Graze Counter GM is a bullet hell shooter game where players “graze” past enemy bullets to charge the “Graze Count.” It was developed by Bikkuri Software and published by Henteko Doujin. The game is a remake of the famous 2017’s Graze Counter with more characters and stages.

Graze Counter GM is set in the virtual reality world EDEN, which helped humankind flourish. However, EDEN ran amok and trapped 100 million minds inside the network. A special covet force known as Saviors is called to address the situation. No one knows what secret lies why EDEN went haywire, and it is the Savior’s job to find it out.

There are five main characters to be featured in Graze Counter GM. Uzuki Ginyose, the protagonist, will seek help from his fellow Saviors to venture into the network. Uzuki pilots the “April Divider” attack program. Each ship can absorb enemies’ bullets and transform them into its own to charge the Graze Counter gauge. After fully charging, Graze Counter enables the player to become invincible for a short period and unlead a powerful attack.

Graze Counter GM will have seven stages – five main stages plus two alternate stages. Furthermore, the game has four difficulty levels. There are also 16 ships to choose from, two default ships, and 14 unlockable types. A Mission mode will also be available, which will act as a tutorial for new players. There is also an Archive Mode to view illustrations and backgrounds as players progress in the game. All in all, Grave Counter GM represents a huge leap forward as compared to its predecessor.

Graze Counter GM will be released on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC on January 18, 2023. It will support nine languages, including English, for diversity. Currently, an ongoing demo is available on Steam, where players can play two characters and venture Stages 2-A and 2-B on four different difficulty levels.
