Arc System Works, the developer behind the Guilty Gear franchise, as well as many other titles, revealed that Guilty Gear Strive‘s new story experience, called “Another Story”, will be released on April 29th, 2022. The new story is set to feature the presence of many characters who were absent during the main storyline of Guilty Gear Strive, such as Ramlethal Valentine, May, and Baiken, the latter of which arrived as a DLC in January 2022.
According to the developers, the game’s “Another Story” update will be available exclusively to those who purchased its first Season Pass. In the upcoming storyline, players will follow Ramlethal, who travels to the outskirts of Illyria to respond to an emergency.
In the Press Release in which Arc System Works revealed the details regarding the upcoming story, they also revealed the first look at Delilah, a new character set to play a major role in the new chapter.
According to her official character description, released by Arc System Works on their official site, Delilah is a young girl who lived within a dream for most of her life, thanks to her unique condition, where her brain is unable to handle both her intellect and abilities. With that said, although socially awkward, her only goal is to get revenge for the death of her brother.
Guilty Gear Strive is the latest title in the acclaimed franchise and was first released worldwide on June 8th, 2021. The game also features what many believe to be the final chapter in Sol Badguy’s story.
You can currently play Guilty Gear Strive exclusively on PS4, PS5, and on PC. The game’s first season pass is currently available both separately and as part of the game’s Deluxe Edition.
