South Korean developer IGGYMOB has announced that the latest installment in the hit Gungrave series, Gungrave G.O.R.E, will launch soon on Nintendo Switch in a new Ultimate Enhanced Edition. The game initially launched in November 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Gungrave G.O.R.E is a stylish third-person action shooter where players take on the role of Grave, a Gunslinger of Resurrection and intriguing anti-hero. Retreating is never an option for Grave as he only goes full steam, mowing down tons of enemies in a gory bullet-filled showdown.
Apart from the action, Gungrave G.O.R.E immerses players in an epic and emotional story of vengeance, love, and loyalty, with more than 12 hours of gameplay in the story mode. The game features stunning images based on real-life Southeast Asian locations, transformed into futuristic, dark settings.
The story of Gungrave G.O.R.E unfolds in a world where SEED, a drug that destroys one’s soul thought to have been eradicated, has returned and begun to be distributed. Mika the leader of SEED-hunting “El-Alcangel” group, clashes with the Raven Clan, an organization that distributes SEED. Quartz, another SEED hunter, discovers the Raven Clan’s hidden base in Scumland, setting the stage for an epic battle in Scumland as Mika and Grave embark on a mission to eliminate SEED for good.
Gungrave G.O.R.E features a blend of stylish third-person shooting and close-range martial arts combat. Equipped with Cerberus pistols with unlimited ammo and a transformable EVO-coffin, players will be able to unleash devastating combos for maximum damage and style.
The Nintendo Switch release of Gungrave G.O.R.E Ultimate Enhanced Edition brings with it an impressive array of 100 gameplay improvements. As of now, specific details about these enhancements and whether this edition will also be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms remain undisclosed.
