Haikyuu X V League Live Q And A Session With Haikyuu Author

The creator of the anime and manga series, Haikyuu!!, will participate in a live Question and Answer session during the upcoming Haikyu X V. League event. Fans will have the opportunity to send their questions to the author until the day of the event.

The popular Japanese manga and anime series, Haikyu, tells the story of Hinata Shoyo, a young boy who is driven to become one of the world’s finest volleyball players. The Haikyu manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in February 2012 and ended in July 2020 with a total of 45 individual volumes.

As a form of celebration for Haikyu’s anniversary in the year 2022, it was announced during the recent Jump Festa that ten major projects are in the works to celebrate Haikyu’s tenth anniversary. Currently, there are still two remaining projects left for the 2022 anniversary celebration.

Fans were surprised when a countdown launched on the official website of Haikyu. Eventually, the countdown was revealed to be for a special Haikyu X V. League event that will happen on August 13th. An exciting lineup of activities is offered by the upcoming Haikyu X V. League event, including a live Q&A session with Haruichi Furudate, the creator of the renowned sports manga and anime. Fans who are eager to learn more about the author’s works and upcoming projects may send their questions by posting their queues on Twitter along with the hashtag, #教えて古舘先生, which translates to “Tell me, Furudate-sensei!” Meanwhile, the following are the Haikyu X V. Leagues events that will happen on August 13 at 18:00 (JST):

  • Real-time Q&A session with Haruichi Furudate-sensei
  • A talk show featuring “V.LEAGUE” players
  • A talk show featuring the “Haikyu!!” TV anime cast
  • Live performance by “BURNOUT SYNDROMES”

Although many have expected the countdown to be related to Haikyu’s Season 5 release date rather than the Haikyu X V. League event, It is yet unknown if the event would also mention the continuation of the Haikyu anime adaption. Fans may, however, anticipate an announcement very soon given that it has already been established that the fifth season of Haikyu will premiere.
