The upcoming online PvPvE extraction shooter, HAWKED, is gearing up to launch its free Open Beta on PC, offering fans an opportunity to experience its gameplay from August 3rd to August 17th. Developed and published by MY.GAMES, HAWKED promises a thrilling action-packed adventure set on a mysterious island where players will engage in fierce battles against monsters, solve puzzles, outsmart rivals, and escape with ancient treasures.
In HAWKED, players will take on the role of daring treasure-hunting mercenaries, known as Renegades, recruited by the adventurers guild GRAIL. Their mission is to infiltrate X-Isle and retrieve powerful relics from a lost civilization. Teams of three players will start their journey aboard the Riftwake, a vast submersible vessel providing access to and from X-Isle.
As players explore X-Isle, they will battle against monsters and rival Renegades to claim ancient treasures, then get them safely back into GRAIL custody. Apart from combat, players will also need to use their wits and solve puzzles, as well as dodge deadly traps to locate Glyphs, unlock the Treasury, and snag valuable Artifacts. To become formidable Renegade, players must extract their bounties to be able to upgrade and customize their characters, enhancing their abilities for future challenges.
As HAWKED is still in active development, the Open Beta phase will allow developers to gather invaluable feedback from participants. This feedback will be instrumental in enhancing the overall gameplay experience, making it even more immersive and engaging before the full version is released.
While the Open Beta is exclusive to PC, console gamers can also anticipate the game’s release in the near future.
