Heardle is a new, up-and-coming musical take on the popular word game Wordle. The premise is simple: listen to part of a song and try to guess the name and artist of it. If you can’t figure it out initially, you will get a bit more of the song to listen to. There will be six snippets given to you to help get you to the answer in total, and if you can’t figure it out on the sixth you will be out of luck. My second, third and fourth guesses were Dock of the Bay and when I played the song clue the fifth time it had completely changed songs to Let’s Stay Together.
I played it shortly after midnight and it was Otis Redding. And then in the morning, on my husband’s phone it was Al Green so I refreshed my the page on my phone and it changed to Al Green. But my score was already recorded and it just said I had correctly guessed Al Green in the same amount of time—it didn’t let me play again.
I reached out to the developer to try to get an explanation, but haven’t heard back yet!

I have no idea! I almost wonder if it is a copyright thing, and certain countries are getting different answers?

Are you sure the time didn’t click over for you when you played it? I tested it on multiple devices and it’s Al Green.
