Blizzard‘s free-to-play online digital collectible card game, Hearthstone, receives a new data-only patch today, Patch 25.2.2, which includes updates to Standard, Battlegrounds, Duels, and more. This is the first patch following the new March of the Lich King expansion. Among the highlights of this update are the nerfs and buffs that have been applied to a selection of cards to ensure a more balanced gameplay.
Here are the cards that received nerfs and buffs in Patch 25.2.2, as published on the official Blizzard website:
Nerfs
Wildpaw Gnoll
- Old: Rush. Costs (1) less for each card you’ve added to your hand from another class.
- New: Rush. Costs (1) less for each non-Rogue class card you’ve added to your hand.
Sinstone Graveyard
- Old: Summon a 1/1 Stealthed Ghost. (Has +1/+1 for each other card you played this turn!)
- New: Summon a 1/1 Ghost. (Has +1/+1 for each other card you played this turn!)
Final Showdown (the first phase of the Demon Hunter Questline)
- Old: Draw 4 cards in one turn.
- New: Draw 6 cards in one turn.
Sinful Brand

To the Front! has also been banned from deck building and card buckets as part of the Hearthstone patch 25.2.2. There are also several updates made to Hero Power, Passive Treasure, and Signature Treasure, along with some bug fixes and improvements.
