The adorable Netflix video game based on the iconic Sanrio universe, Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade, will finally launch on the Nintendo Switch next month.
Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade is a rhythm game created by Rogue Games in collaboration with Dabadu Games. It features the colorful and vibrant world of Sanrio, where players will join Hello Kitty and her friends such as Kerokerokeroppi, Badtz-Maru, Pompompurin, and more, on a delightful music tour.
Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade was first released on Android and iOS platforms last year, exclusively for Netflix subscribers. Recently, Rogue Games announced that the Hello Kitty rhythm game is set to be released for the Nintendo Switch on April 13, 2023. Along the Switch version announcement, two different teasers, showcasing the gameplay and Sanrio characters, were also released.
Over the course of the music tour in Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade, players must look out for the jealous Kuromi who will stop at nothing to disrupt the music, deploying goons and setting traps to halt the momentum. As players advance through the game, they will meet new Sanrio characters and invite them to participate in their musical parades.
Hello Kitty and Friends Happiness Parade feature over 40 amazing pop hits, and the Switch edition adds 20 new exclusive tunes to the game’s soundtrack. As Sanrio characters, players will progress through a total of 23 distinct levels by dancing to the beat, avoiding obstacles, and making use of each character’s unique abilities. Throughout the music tour, players may collect coins that can be used to purchase upgrades and accessories, such as wacky hats and sunglasses, for the characters to show off as they pose for photos during the mid-parade.
Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade will be available on the Nintendo eShop for $19.99. You may purchase the game at launch to get a 15 percent discount.
