The sequel to the adorable 2020 point-and-click, puzzle game developed and published by Rogueside, has been announced to be released across several gaming platforms.
Today, Rogueside revealed their upcoming title, Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic. It is the second entry in the Hidden Through Time series in which players will once again join Clicky on a new, enchanted adventure. As with the original game, players will explore hand-drawn worlds in search of hidden objects, and they will unlock other worlds as they progress.
Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic will launch on various platforms, including PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile platforms. In Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic, players will embark on an epic and exciting journey through time. Along the way, players will explore historical locations and uncover hidden treasures. It features challenging puzzles and intricate hidden object scenes that will require players to use their wits and keen eyesight to complete each level and advance in the game.
Apart from engaging hidden object gameplay, Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic boasts a whole new level of customization, interactability, and immersion. It features both a single-player campaign and an online mode in which players can create their dreamworld. It also includes a brand-new Reality Shift feature, which causes the environment to change from day to night and from summer to winter. This feature also enables players to explore maps in different states and compels them to keep an eye out for those items that are only present in one or the other state.
Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic retains the vibrant and adorable art style of the original game while also introducing brand-new features designed to provide additional depth to the hidden object experience as well as expand the customization options.
