Hilarious clip shows that Overwatch 2’s Zenyatta doesn’t skip leg day

Remembering Leg Day pays off as one Zenyatta scores a play of the game in Overwatch 2!

Exercise is important, and anyone looking to shape and improve their body at the gym has one timeless saying to keep in mind, never skip leg day. A body is only as strong as the foundations holding it up, and you don’t want a jacked gorilla core standing on top of a couple of chicken legs.

This play of the game, posted on Reddit by u/profanewingss, shows that if nothing else Zenyatta does NOT skip his leg day. Sure, he may be a robot, with no actual muscle to work on at the gym — but what does that change? In a recent update to the Overwatch 2 beta, Zenyatta was given a new passive that significantly increases their knockback when using melee. The result of this buff is clear by the following clip!

The play of the game intro opens like any other, promising to showcase the skills of our Zenyatta player, GHOSTRICK. The replay that might normally start with a helpful Zenyatta ult instead shows our player kicking an unfortunate foe right off the map. Cool move, but where’s the play of the game?

Carefully positioning themselves at the top of the staircase, GHOSTRICK prepares to secure the POTG against the approaching enemies, who have no idea what they’re getting into. As their team captures the objective, a lone Hanzo is the first to climb the staircase, hoping to flank the enemy. A well-timed kick from GHOSTRICK sends the samurai flying off the map.

Following shortly behind Hanzo is a wrecking ball, eager to make up for their friend’s mistake and knock the enemy away like… Well, a wrecking ball would. The Hammond crashes into the Reinhardt, knocking him aside and propelling him towards our Zenyatta.

Another well-timed kick throws the wrecking ball right through the goalpost in a stunning display that would have any soccer fan cheering.

And that’s where our play of the game ends. While not the most explosive POTG I’ve ever seen, GHOSTRICK shows us the importance of working on your glutes and thighs — A few well-timed kicks were all it took to send Zenyatta to the top of the leaderboard and secure a victory for his team.

Next time you’re pumping iron, remember GHOSTRICK and never skip leg day.
