Diablo Immortal is a free-to-play mobile game set in the Diablo universe. Players battle with and against each other to improve their demon slayers, grinding levels and increasing in power so they can take on powerful bosses and each other. Competition can be cutthroat in Diablo Immortal, so players need all the information they can find to get an edge on their foes.
Diablo Immortal players may eventually find themselves seeking a greater challenge in the dungeons they’ve already conquered. Conversely, some players may find that a certain dungeon is way too hard, and are seeking to make it easier. Whatever the case, we’ll be covering changing the difficulty in this guide.
How to change difficulty in Diablo Immortal
Unfortunately, there is no way to change the level of each individual Diablo dungeon. The entire game is connected to one shared difficulty level, with each dungeon becoming progressively more difficult than the last in order to challenge players as they get stronger and more familiar with the game.
At level 60, players can change this shared difficulty level, making it harder or reverting to an easier difficulty if things become too much to handle.
While in Westmarch, players can open the map and interact with the skull icon in the top corner. Doing so opens up a menu where they can change the Hell difficulty level. Doing so makes the game progressively harder, and allows for increasingly higher level item drops for Paragon players.
Unfortunately, there is no way to change the difficulty before hitting the level 60 cap. This may lead to some players feeling overpowered at certain points in the campaign. If you’re having trouble progressing, you may need to look towards friends for help, or purchase one of the game’s many micro-transaction boosts.
