Lost Ark is the hit eastern action MMORPG that just arrived for the western audience. New players in Lost Ark are in for an action-packed adventure, but some are having trouble navigating the controls and menu. In this guide we’ll tell you how to change mouse controls in Lost Ark.
How To Change Controls In Lost Ark
Unfortunately, you can’t really change the mouse controls in Lost Ark. They are pretty much locked in place, but when you start the game you do have the option to choose whether you want to attack with left or right click. If you decide you want to switch between these two, you can go to the settings menu under Hotkeys and check or uncheck the box labeled “Attack with Right-click”.
Other than the mouse click options the controls in Lost Ark are pretty straightforward. They follow the same patterns as many Diablo-like top down games, with very few changes. Players also have the option to customize their control options as they enter the world with their character for the first time.
If you’re having trouble remembering the controls or picked a layout you’re not happy with, you can always change the controls later in game. To do this, open up the game menu by pressing the Escape button. When you’re there, you’ll be met with a page showing your character, and a litany of options to customize and interact with the game.
From here, go to the Settings tab at the bottom of the menu. This will open up a new window, which may take a few seconds to load. Your game might freeze up during this, but don’t worry, that’s normal.
From the Settings menu, you can change and customize many different aspects of your game to improve your experience. To change the controls, go down to Hotkeys > Basic Controls and set your keys as you wish. Remember that if you change a hotkey to a key that’s used by another action, you will need to rebind that action with a new key as well.
