How to Damage a Tank to Collect Armor Samples

To damage a tank and collect its armor samples in Fortnite, you are going to have to locate a tank somewhere in the game. Once you have a tank in the area, use your harvesting tool and hack at it until a piece falls off of the vehicle. You can then collect it to complete your challenge.

If you’re looking for all of the tank locations that are available right now, you can check out the following map with all of them listed on it. They can generally be found in the red outline portion of the map, particularly in the northern region.

Your best bet would be to land on a tank that is far away from the bus path when you start a game. This will hopefully give you the chance to get to it before another player does. These are quite popular to grab at the beginning of a match, so your mileage may vary on whether or not you can get to one before someone else does!
