Blizzard’s Diablo Immortal is their big foray into the mobile gaming scene, but PC players have not been left behind because they can jump in as well. The game is based on the well-known Diablo franchise, that will have you defeating demons and collecting all sorts of loot while doing it. If you’re wondering if you can change the resolution in the game, we’ll tell you how in this guide.

To disable the chat box in Diablo Immortal, you will need to head to the settings or tap on the chat box and click on the settings gear button next to it. Head to the Chat settings area and uncheck all of the options that are currently checked under Channels in Chat Preview.

This will disable any new messages coming entering into your chat, but you will still likely see the window on your screen. It takes some time for the messages to disappear completely. You can try logging out and in to see if that removes it fully. It will eventually work, you just have to be patient.

Your chat will still exist, so if someone messages you directly you will see it pop up in the chat. However, you will not see the chat box until a message appears. You can hit the Enter key on your keyboard for PC to bring the chat window up if you want.

On mobile your chat window will minimize, but a small chat area will still exist at the bottom of the screen. You can tap on it to open it, but it will remain open for a little while afterwards and you can’t minimize it again until it automatically does so or you log out and back in.

That’s everything you need to know about hiding your chat window. You can find more guides and information about it in the Diablo Immortal section of our website.
