Diablo Immortal is a free-to-play mobile game set in the Diablo universe. Players battle with and against each other to improve their demon slayers, grinding levels and increasing in power so they can take on powerful bosses and each other. Competition can be cutthroat in Diablo Immortal, so players need all the information they can find to get an edge on their foes.

Essence Transfer in Diablo Immortal allows you to take the appearance, perk, and item name of one piece of gear and apply it to another, stronger piece of gear. This is a great way to increase your player power as well as keep your favorite weapons. If you’re looking for how to use Essence Transfer, you’ve found the right guide.

Extracting Essence in Diablo Immortal

To extract Essence in Diablo Immortal, you will first need to find Zamina, a special NPC in Westmarch. This vendor is the only one who can extract and transfer your Essence. Make sure you have two legendary weapons of the same type in order to transfer Essence.

At Zamina’s vendor menu, navigate over to the transfer menu. Next to the piece of gear you wish to extract, you will find the large Extract button. This will extract and save this weapon’s essence. When you are unable to extract Essence, the weapon’s name will be in grey, but if you have the required items you will see golden text saying Extractable.

Using Essence extraction is most efficient when you find a weak legendary item with a strong perk. Extract the perk from this gear and place it on a stronger piece of equipment to make the most use of the power.
