In Marauders, players take the role of a space pirate out to shoot and loot everything in the known galaxy. Like a stylistic crossover between Cowboy Bebop and Hellsing Ultimate and with gameplay that draws inspiration from Tarkov, Marauders is, in a word, intense. An unprepared player won’t last very long in their space pirating journey, so its best to study up on some of the game’s mechanics before the bullets are flying. If you’ve got your loot and you’re ready to get out, this guide will show you how to extract from a raid in Marauders.

Extracting from a Raid in Marauders

When you’re ready to extract in Marauders, simply find one of the Escape Gates while in your ship. Once you find an escape gate, fly your ship through the yellow portal in the center of the gate and you’re home free.

There are two Escape Gates present on every map, and knowing where they are ahead of time can be the difference between a successful raid and an early grave. Take some time to scout out your exits early on in your raid, and remember where they are when you’re ready to leave.

If your ship comes under fire from enemy players, it could take some damage and be disabled, leaving it unable to fly into the Escape Gates. If this happens, don’t worry. You can still flee the raid using your Escape Pod to fly through the exit gate. Your Escape Pods can usually be found at the lower levels of your ship, and will have red hangar doors.

That’s everything you need to know about extracting in the game. If you want to learn more, be sure to check out the Marauders section of our website.
