Where-to get a Thermal Weapon

To find a Thermal Weapon in Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 2, you will either need to locate it by finding it on the floor, in a chest, or anywhere else weapons can be found. For a guaranteed Thermal Weapon, you can kill the Huntmaster Saber boss and take their legendary Huntmaster Saber’s Thermal Rifle!

If you want to fight the Huntmaster Saber boss, you will need to head to Condo Canyon and get up to the blimp that is located inside. You will want to make sure to be fairly geared, because the NPC won’t be going down easy.

Huntmaster Saber will do a slashing AOE when you get too close to them, so make sure to stay back. The boss can also teleport away, so you will have to track them down again once they make a move.

Your other option is just locating a Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle that can be found just about anywhere. There are rare, epic, and legendary versions which can be found in chests, rare chests, seven chests, floor loot, supply drop, and out of a fishing hole!
