Featured Dinkum Shiny Rocks

Dinkum is the newest farming and crafting game on Steam. In this down-under adventure, players can join up with their friends to explore a world based on the Australian outback. While the game may be a relaxing journey, building your town in the bush can be hard if you’re not prepared. In this guide, we’ll show you what to do with those shiny stones you’ll find around the island.

Shiny Stone guide Dinkum

Shiny Stones are gold-filled rocks you’ll find around the island. These rocks will primarily come up while mining, digging, and other excavation activities, though mining is your best bet for finding them.

Once you find a shiny stone, you’ll have to break it open to get to the precious metals hidden inside. To do this, you’ll need a grinder, which you can purchase from the trader. You will need John’s store set up to get the grinder, after which it will cost you 10,000 dinks to purchase.

Once you’ve got the grinder, simply drop your shiny stones in the top crushing bit and wait for them to grind up. Afterward, the precious contents of the rock will be spewed out onto the ground for you to pick up. This is the only way to break up shiny stones in dinkum, but if you can’t get a grinder yet you can sell the shiny stones directly to John for a profit.
