If you’re looking to upgrade your weapons, and you need to know how to get the Diffraction Module in Dead Space Remake, we have a helpful guide for you. Dead Space Remake is a survival-horror game that is a remake of the 2008 game by the same name. The remake was developed by Motive Studio and published by EA. It is set in the 26th century and follows engineer Isaac Clarke who has to survive as he tries to save his crewmates and figure out why USG Ishimura has gone silent.

How to get the Diffraction Module

To get the Diffraction Module, you should encounter it during Chapter 10 on the Mining Deck in the Tools’ Storage Room, and it will require Master Override Security Clearance. Once you have obtained the weapon upgrade, you will need to bring the part to the bench. It provides a free Power Node and extra node paths for the Contact Beam with its special upgrade providing the weapon with an increased explosion size for the weapon’s secondary fire.

There are also purchasable weapon upgrades, which we have detailed guides on: Heat Accumulator, Kinetic Autoloader, Ricochet Tracer, Supersymmetry Tether, Gellified Hydrazine, Ionized Capacitor, and Subsonic Oscillator. These can be purchased in the Store for 11,000 to 12,500 Credits but will require some storyline progress.
