How to Unlock the Dribble Ability in Blade Ball

To get the Dribble ability in Blade Ball, you must land on three items in the Christmas Spins raffle, or more specifically, three Epic items from the Epic Raffle.

  • Winged Blade
  • Christmas Blade
  • Infinity

To get your hands on these three items, you’ll need to navigate to the Christmas button located at the bottom right of the screen and click on Christmas Spin. A single spin will cost 400 Cookies, but you can also buy spins with Robux.

However, very much like the Halloween event where you could unlock Phantom, these items are part of the Epic raffle, which you can only access by first participating in the Basic Raffle and landing on a specific icon: the Christmas Chest, which is a 3% chance. The Christmas Crate does not count. It has to look like the chest in the image below.

By landing on the Christmas Chest, you’ll enter the Epic Raffle phase, where you have the chance to win four items:

  • Winged Blade – 19% Chance
  • Christmas Blade – 42% Chance
  • Infinity – 5% Chance
  • Candy Cane Emote – 34% Chance

Once you have all three of the items you require, you’ll automatically have Dribble in your Skills/Skins and ready to use for your next game.

Best Way to Use The Dribble Ability in Blade Ball

The smartest way to do this is to get into a clash with someone. If you and them go back and forth, they’ll start getting used to the speed the ball gets back to them. From there, get closer because dribbling isn’t as effective from long range. When you’re a bit close, dribble the ball, making them think it’s coming and leading to an early block. This will leave them open to a hit.

You only need to use the ability once per clash, and taking out an opponent will give you another dribble, so it’s better only to use two if you have to.

What Is the Dribble Ability in Blade Ball?

The Dribble Ability lets you bounce away from you a maximum of two times with the initial ability, but you don’t have to use it twice. That may not seem like much, but it’s actually a huge boon. You can make sure to look around and aim with the extra time you get dribbling the ball.

As an added boon, because you’re deflecting it by dribbling it, the ball speed will also increase. So not only are you hoping they deflect or use their ability by thinking they’ll hit the ball, but you’re hoping they won’t expect the speed increase either. Dribbling also ruins the pattern they have for deflection and will often lead to beating in a stand-off.

You can use it at most twice, with the ability recharging as you take out opponents. It’s one of the more limited abilities, but it’s pretty powerful in terms of making enemies think the ball is coming before it is, so it’s kind of overpowered.

Can You Upgrade Dribble in Blade Ball?

Yes, interestingly, you can. You can upgrade it to V2, which makes it power up more, leading to more uses.

What Does the Dribble Upgrade Do?

Upgrading Dribble just gives you the ability to dribble the ball more. The speed has also improved slightly, but the more noticeable change is being able to dribble a third time.
