Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP) are now available for the Nintendo Switch, and with their release comes a variety of interesting challenges and questions for players. While the games are fairly straight-forward, some of the new mechanics and fun aspects of them can be a bit tricky! If you are trying to catch yourself a Eevee in this set of games, we will show you exactly where to go to find yourself one.
Eevee Guide
To get Eevee in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you will need to have beat the game and obtained the National Dex. Then talk to Dawn in Sandgem Town, who will tell you to talk to Bebe, who is in Hearthome City. Head there, talk to Bebe, and she will give you an Eevee.
The journey to get Eevee really begins once you’ve beaten the Elite Four and completed the story in the game. You will then need to see 151 Pokemon for your Pokedex. Talk to Professor Rowan in Sandgem Town and he will give you the National Dex. You can then talk to Dawn who is right outside of the Professor’s laboratory, who will mention that you should visit Bebe in Hearthome City.
Fly to Hearthome City and once you arrive outside of the Pokemon Center, and go inside of the building that is next to it on the right.
Inside you will find a blonde haired NPC named Bebe. Talk to her and she will notice that you have obtained the National Pokedex, and because of that she will offer you an Eevee as a reward. Just say yes that you want one and she will hand one over.
As far as we know, Eevee is not shiny locked. That means you could save near Bebe and get an Eevee over and over again by restarting your game and hopefully obtain a shiny version at some point.
Another thing to note is that Sylveon is not available in this game, so you can’t evolve the Eevee into the popular fairy-type Pokemon. You can find the majority of the evolution stones you need for Eevee in the Grand Underground. Look for parts of the walls that sparkle, which you can dig and obtain rare items from.
To get more Eevees in the games, you can either trade for them or you can pair them with a Ditto at the Pokemon Daycare Center and you should get yourself plenty of Eevee eggs to hatch and evolve.
