V Rising has you awakening as a vampire in a hostile world. You will need to find blood to regain your strength, and build your way up to the top of the vampire hierarchy. To do so, you will need to create a base for you and your friends or attempt to go it alone. If you’re looking to craft yourself some glass, you will need to know what resources you need and what tools are required!

Crafting Glass

To get Glass in V Rising, you will first need to obtain a Furnace and have access to it at your castle. Then, you will need to slay the level 44 V Blood boss by the name of Christina the Sun Priestess to get the Glass recipe. Finally, just obtain 20x Quartz pieces by mining Quartz Nodes and smelt them together at your Furnace to create one piece of Glass!

You should hopefully already have the Furnace, which is unlocked during the tutorial. Place one at your castle, so you can smelt together the various ores in the game.

Next, you will need to defeat Christina the Sun Priestess. She can be found in the Dunley Farmlands, pretty much in the middle of the area. You can find the exact location using the map below, which is sourced from Map Genie.

Christina has multiple recipes you will unlock once defeated, including Glass, Empty Glass Bottles, Holy Resistance Potion, and the Blood Rose Potion.

Once you’ve gotten the Glass Recipe, you will now need to find and mine Quartz nodes. The best places to farm Quartz are going to be Dawnbreak Village, Mosswick Village, and Duinley Monastery that are located in Dunley Farmlands. You can find the exact locations using the map below, which is sourced from Map Genie.

Bring at least 20x Quartz pieces back to your Furnace and you can create one piece of Glass. This resource is used to create things like Scourgestone, Empty Glass Bottles, and the Scourge Pendant.
