The new passives mechanics was introduced into Roblox Anime Fighters Simulator on September 4th, 2021 in Update 9 of the game. When you place one of these on one of your fighters, they will receive a bonus based on which passive you rolled. These can sometimes be very strong, but other passives can have negative consequences. You will need to spend your raid shards on these, but you can also purchase rolls with Robux. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about these in the guide below.

How to get Passives
To get passives in Anime Fighters, you will need to head to the Hero Academy map and locate the Passives Machine. When you interact with it, you will be able to pick one of your units to give a passive. You can only choose a fighter that is not equipped to your party, so make sure to unequip the unit if that’s the one you want to use.
You then have the choice to spend Raid Shards from the world that the fighter is from to roll a passive, or you can spend 149 Robux to roll it. You will then get a random passive that will be equipped to the chosen fighter!
Passives List
Here are some of the passives you can get when you roll for them in game. Some passives have ranks, which will increase the amount of the buff that is given them. They are usually 1, 2, or 3, with 1 being the weakest and 3 being the strongest. Some of these passives are bad, and will actually debuff your character. So, you might want to be careful when rolling too often!
Each one of these has a rarity depending on the buff it gives or the rank. You will see a color attached to each one when you roll. The same passive can have multiple colors depending on which rank it is.
Here’s a list of the color rarities:
- Green – Gives a negative buff
- Gray – Common buff
- Blue – Rare buff
- Purple – Epic buff
- Orange – Legendary buff
- Rainbow – Mythic buff
