Sakura Stand Red Mist Spec Guide

To get Red Mist in Sakura Stand is mostly known but not 100% confirmed. What you need to do is get the server percentage up to 100% by killing Hollows and Curses, which will spawn a Red Mist portal in front of the cafe. Enter the portal and defeat Mimicry. However, she has a few stages, and she heals every time a player dies for one of them. There’s a 60% chance she’ll drop a “Mimicry” item that appears on the altar in the arena. Then, you need to unlock its full power by completing a quest by the NPC in the Dark Alley to get the Red Mist Spec.

In the Sakura Stand Discord, developer Kuzma dropped a hint that Curses and Hollows must be defeated, with an image of a new NPC underneath. This NPC is called Q3 and can be found in The Forest, near Side Park. Upon speaking to him, he’ll give you a percentage.

The percentage increases when players kill Curses and Hollows in a server. The more difficult the enemy, the greater the contribution to the percentage. So, the more players in the server, the faster this percentage will increase. The following are the percentages you get from killing enemies:

  • Fishbone 1-2%
  • Frog Hollow 1-2%
  • Menos Grande 5%
  • Adjucha 7%

We are not sure what percentages you get from killing Curses.

Based on the Q3 Trello Card, reaching 100% is only the beginning of the Red Mist quest. After reaching 100%, a portal will appear near the cafe that you have to enter and defeat the new boss, Red Mist. She has a healing ability for one of her stages, that when a player dies, she regains health. She’s very hard to beat, so you have to nuke her fast.

Once killed, there’s a 60% chance of getting the item “Mimicry,” but anyone can steal it from the altar.

However, do note that leaving the experience or server will erase all of your percentage progress; this also applies to shutdowns and the like, so the faster you get this done, the better. If you are cautious, it may be best to find a near-empty server and grind it 100% yourself, though it’ll take a lot longer than with a server full of people.

However, the “Mimicry’s” true power needs to be unlocked. With Red Mist Spec equipped, you’ll start seeing voices appear, and finally, it tells you to go to the Dark Alley to find someone, a new NPC added in the summer update. Explore the alley maze until you find the NPC. I think you can follow the direction of the text that appears on screen.
