Slime Rancher 2 will have you wrangling slimes, feeding them, and selling what comes out of them for big profits. As you embark on your adventure, you will no doubt want to unlock and discover everything the game has to offer. If you need to know how to get Slime Fossils in Slime Rancher 2, we’ll tell you exactly where you need to go in the game.

How to get Slime Fossils

To get Slime Fossils in Slime Rancher 2, you’ll look for them throughout Powderfall Bluffs, especially in caves like the ones used to get to the Saber Gordo. You’ll be looking for a small, square-ish gray rock that you’ll be able to suck up. They can be found on the ground, in the top corners of caves, and even floating mid-air. The Slimepedia describes it as “if history could smile, it would look like this.”

As you wander through the cave corridors, if you go at night time, you will see translucent, rainbow-like “roads” that allow you to traverse the top of the area and pick up even more of the Slime Fossils.
