Blade Ball Starfish Guide

To acquire Starfish in Blade Ball, you must complete the Summer Clash quests and gather them in the arena while still attempting to deflect the ball.

There are six daily quests to complete, which reset every 24 hours. These quests can be found by walking into the Summer Clash circle in the Lobby and then clicking on Quests. These quests include collecting Starfish, winning games on specific maps, and achieving victories. The quests I had to complete were as follows:

  • Collect 25 Starfish – You get 25 Starfish as a reward
  • Win 1 game on Kraken Island – You get 50 Starfish as a reward
  • Win 3 games – You get 50 Starfish as a reward
  • Win 5 games of Duels – You get 100 Starfish as a reward
  • Win 2 games in a row – You get 100 Starfish as a reward
  • Collect 300 Starfish – You get 100 Starfish as a reward

Another way to obtain Starfish is by collecting them in the arena. Some will spawn randomly as you play if you manage to survive that long, and some will spawn once a player has been eliminated. However, these Starfish are visible to all players, so if another player picks up a Starfish, you can no longer obtain it.

What are Starfish used for in Blade Ball?

Starfish are collected as part of a team effort. When you join a team, either Pirates or Mermaids (Pirates all the way!), the Starfish you collect contribute to your team’s total. Upon reaching certain milestones of Starfish collection, you can claim rewards. However, it’s important to note that you can’t just sit back and let your team do all the work. You need to participate and collect Starfish to claim these rewards. Here are the rewards for each milestone:

  • 2 million – Sailor’s Saber
  • 5 million – Premium Sword Crate
  • 10 million – Pirate’s Hunt Emote – You must contribute 100 Starfish to claim
  • 25 million – 100 Octo Coins – You must contribute 200 Starfish to claim
