A Valentine’s update has arrived in Anime Last Stand, adding four new units to the game. However, three of them are limited-time units, meaning you can only get them while the event is active. If you miss them, you won’t be able to obtain them later—unless they return in a future update. This guide covers how to get Thorn Queen and Ossoi in Anime Last Stand before the event ends.

If you’re after some freebies, head to our Anime Last Stand codes page and see what you can get!

Anime Last Stand Thorn Queen and Ossoi Guide – How to Get

There are two ways to get Thorn Queen (inspired by Spy x Family) and Ossoi (inspired by High School DxD) in Anime Last Stand:

  • Opening a Love Capsule – You have a 2% chance to pull them.
  • Trading for them – If you can’t get them through capsules, you can try trading.

How to Get Love Capsules in Anime Last Stand

To get Thorn Queen and Ossoi, you need to open Love Capsules, which are purchased in the Valentine’s Shop for 100 Chocolates each.

  • Love Capsules are only available in the limited-time Valentine’s Shop.
  • You cannot get them any other way.
  • Each Love Capsule has a 2% chance to contain Thorn Queen or Ossoi.

Since the drop rate is so low, you’ll likely need to buy and open a lot of Love Capsules to get either unit.

How to Get Chocolate in Anime Last Stand

There are four ways to earn Chocolates (the event currency) in ALS, by completing Valentine’s Portals, redeeming Anime Last Stand codes, Valentine’s Login Rewards, and playtime rewards.

Valentines Portals

These Valentine portals take you to the Candyland Map, where you can fight through battles to earn Chocolates.

The higher the portal tier, the more Chocolates you’ll get:

  • T1: 75 – 185 Chocolates
  • T2: 225 – 335 Chocolates
  • T3: 375 – 485 Chocolates
  • T4: 525 – 635 Chocolates
  • T5: 675 – 825 Chocolates
  • T6 (Secret): 1125 – 1500 Chocolates

To farm Love Capsules efficiently, focus on completing higher-tier portals as much as possible. But if you are struggling focus on the Tier Portal that you can complete, as you’ll get more Chocolates that way.

Redeeming Anime Last Stand Codes

Redeeming Anime Last Stand codes is a quickfire burst to get your hands on some Chocolates fast but it’s not a massive amount, but hey you may get lucky and get your hands on Thorn Queen and Ossoi in the first few that you open.

Valentine’s Rewards Login

By logging in every day of the Valentine’s Day event in ALS, you can claim free rewards. On days 2 and 5 you get Chocolates as a reward. On day 2 you can 1,000 Chocolates and on day 5 you get 2,500.

Valentine’s Playtime Rewards

By playing two hours of Anime Last Stand per day, you can claim 1,000 Chocolates as a reward. To claim the Login Rewards and Playtime Rewards, press the Valentine’s Event button at the bottom left of the screen, then click on Rewards in the window that appears.

Trading for Thorn Queen and Ossoi in Anime Last Stand

If you don’t want to rely on Love Capsules, you can try trading for Thorn Queen or Ossoi instead.

  • Check the trading-1 and trading-2 channels in the Anime Last Stand Discord.
  • Look for players offering trades or post your own trade request.
  • Since these are limited-time units, expect people to ask for high-value trades.

Whenever trading:

  • Bring a third person to oversee the trade to avoid scams.
  • Only trade with trusted players to ensure you don’t lose your items.

Getting Thorn Queen and Ossoi is tough, but with enough Chocolates, Love Capsules, or good trades, you can add them to your collection before the event ends.
