The Lunar New Year is upon us, and with it, an event in Adopt Me! This event lasts for two weeks, and players can earn a new type of currency called Yakgwa, which you can spend on Lunar New Year Gift Boxes! So here is the fastest way to get Yakgwa in Adopt Me!

Adopt Me Yakgwa Guide
There are multiple ways to get Yakgwa in Adopt Me, but two activities, in particular, are the best ways to acquire it: raising Kites and Red Lantern, Green Lantern. And, of course, you can purchase Yakgwa with Robux!
Raising Kites to get Yakgwa
Every morning of the Lunar New Year event, there are six kites that can be raised, and for each flag you raise, you will earn 150 Yakgwa, so 900 in total. These six kites never move position, so once you know the location of them all you can do this in a few minutes for an easy 900 Yakgwa each day. Use your pet as a mount, but remember you can’t interact with a kite if riding your animal, so I recommend using hyperspeed potions or something else.
All Kite Locations
First, upon starting, teleport to Gifts, and just outside the Nursery is the first kite.
After the first kite go across the white bridge. On your left after crossing the bridge is another kite.
Follow the path in a circle going right, taking you to the pizza shop, and outside the pizza shop is kite number 3!
From the pizza shop, keep following the path around as if you were going in a circle to find the fourth kite at the wooden bridge near the beach.
The following kite is next to the red bridge.
And the final kite is at the other wooden bridge.
Red Lantern, Green Lantern to get Yakgwa
The best way to earn a large amount of Yakgwa in Adopt Me! is to take part in the new “Red Lantern, Green Lantern” mini-game. By participating, you can earn a total of 3200 Yakgwa. Your objective is to gather bowls of Rice Cake Soup scattered around the arena while avoiding detection by the statues, but you only have 1 minute 30 seconds to do so, and you can only play this mini-game once after nine minutes. You can only pick up three bowls at a time.
You can do this by picking up Rice Cake Soup on the floor and taking it to the Safe Areas highlighted in blue squares. Aim to pick up the Golden Rice Cake Soup for the most points, but remember, stop moving if a statue light shines on you. You do have a health bar that goes down if moving in a light, but it does replenish, so you have a little bit of leeway.
To get the maximum amount of Yakgwa, you must get six Golden Rice Cake Bowls and six Normal Rice Cake Bowls to get over 3000 points. So, 12 bowls are needed in total to get 3200 Yakgwa. Even if you fail and get nothing you still get 800 Yakgwa!
Purchase Yakgwa with Robux
