While it does not follow in the footsteps of Dark Souls, it forges its own path of violence in a more open-world scenario. While these games are fondly remembered, one common criticism is that they are difficult to comprehend. Taking Off Your Helmet

The only way to hide your helmet in Elden Ring is to unequip it in your Equipment window. Unfortunately, there’s no setting that allows you to wear a helmet and make it so that it is not visible when you are playing the game. Yes, you will lose some stats by not wearing it, but FromSoftware games are fairly notorious for making armor not extremely important.
