How to Hover & Glide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To hover and glide in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to be well-fed, which requires eating a meal you’ve made when your energy bar is already at its maximum. You will see your energy bar go from blue to golden, indicating you’re “well-fed.” In this state, you’ll see the ability to “Sprint” show on the bottom left of your screen. On PC, you’ll press Shift to activate, while on consoles like Switch and Xbox, you’ll press B.

In the Pride of the Valley update, one of the new features is the ability to hover/glide to be able to cover larger areas faster, which is a major quality of life improvement! If you plan to do a lot of gliding in the game, make sure you have plenty of energy-restoring food items in your inventory so that you can keep up the well-fed bonus, which will get depleted over time!

We hope this helped you learn how to hover/glide around in Disney Dreamlight Valley and get between the biomes faster! Check out more of our Disney Dreamlight Valley coverage.
