When you first appear in Soul Society in Type Soul, you’ll probably find yourself situated between a massive gate and a giant archway. If you’re not in this location, navigate your way there. It’s essentially the path-splitting orange and blue section of Soul Society. Just head towards the giant gate with blue pillars on either side.

You want to head opposite the giant gate, and head towards the archway. Up the stairs underneath the archway and on your right, you’ll come across the NPC Khaotxc. Approach Khaotxc and initiate a conversation with them. When prompted, confirm that you want to leave your division by selecting ‘Yes.’

For new players, it’s recommended that they consider joining the fifth division. It provides excellent opportunities to level up, as you only need to defeat Hollows.
