Keplerth is a survival sandbox game that will have you attempt to get by on a planet that you have just awoken on. You will need to harvest materials, build a shelter, and craft items to keep you safe from all that lurks in the world. If you’ve dived into the game and are curious on how to tame animals or some monsters, we’ll tell you how in this guide.

These games are noteworthy for keeping you on your toes, as you will need to make sure to build up quickly so you can survive your way through early game attacks!

Taming Guide

To tame in Keplerth, you will need to obtain a Pet Collar. These can be obtained rarely as loot from Goblins, but much more reliably by crafting with a Goblin Workbench.

To get the Goblin Workbench, you will need to slay the Goblin King in the underground between levels 1 and 4. Once you’ve succeeded, teleport to Schip’s Lab and bring the boss item drop with you. You can then learn how to craft the Goblin Workbench from the Workbench.

Once you have the Goblin Workbench created, you then need to gather up 5x Bones, 4x Leather, and 2x Wool to create 1x Pet Collar. Place the Pet Collar in your inventory and then use it on a tameable animal or monster. Each creature you try to tame has a set percentage chance of being successful, so don’t be surprised if you need multiple collars to succeed!

While just about every animal will be tameable, you won’t be able to tame all of the monsters you come across in the game. Just about every creature you can tame will be mountable, but not all will be usable in combat. Each one has their strengths and weaknesses, so choose your mount and fighting companions wisely!

That’s everything you need to know about taming in the game! Be sure to check out the Keplerth section of our website for more details.
