Opening Doors in Slime Rancher 2

To open a door in Slime Rancher 2, you will need to look for the slime statue nearby that has its mouth open. Take a careful look at it and figure out which slime it is in the game. Once you’ve figured that out, you will need to obtain a plort from that particular slime and shoot it into the mouth of the slime statue to unlock the door!

Here’s an example of one of these locked doors or gates that you will come across in the game. This one is located behind the Phosphor Gordo. Once you pop the big slime, you will encounter this door. The slime that is represented here is a Tabby. You will need to obtain a Tabby plort and fire it into the mouth of the statue to gain access to the room behind the door.

You just need a single plort of the correct type, and once you have one just shoot it into the mouth of the statue where it will hold it and unlock the door. You don’t need to bring additional ones to access the area again, it will remain open.
