V Rising has you awakening as a vampire in a hostile world. You will need to find blood to regain your strength, and build your way up to the top of the vampire hierarchy. To do so, you will need to create a base for you and your friends or attempt to go it alone. If you’re looking to grow some of your own crops, we’ll tell you how you can do so in this guide.

Growing Plants

To plant Seeds in V Rising, you will need to place the Seed of your choice into your hotbar from your inventory. Head over to a dirt tile or a Garden Floor area, select the Seed, and then use it as an item to plant it into the ground. You should see a small cement circle with a small crop inside of it appear, which will eventually grow into a plant!

If you want your farm to look more attractive, you can get Garden Floors by defeating the level 34 V Blood known as Polora the Feywalker who is located in the Farbane Woods. Once you’ve dispatched her, you can place a Garden Floor at your base.

Head to the western portion of Farbane Woods and towards Silverlight Hills to find Pelora the Feywalker. You can find the exact location using the map below, which is sourced from Map Genie.

You will now need the seeds of whatever crop you want to plant. You can head to Farms all over the map, which will feature a specific plant that you might be looking to get seeds from. Once at the farm, hack through the crop and you have a low chance of getting them as a drop.

Not all seeds can be obtained this way, for instance, Highland Lotus Seeds can be found by interacting with Ottar the Merchant and purchasing them with Silver Coins.

When you’ve started to get crops you can harvest, you will have a low chance once you hack at them to get seeds of that plant type.
