Chivalry 2 is the follow-up to the classic melee brawler of the same name. Both games have been renowned for their melee systems, detailed maps, and depth of gameplay available. As it turns out, players will be getting more Chivalry 2 for some time to come as Torn Banner has a roadmap of content it plans to release in addition to the four significant updates it has had in the last year.
The most recent update, released on February 15th, 2021, is the House Aberfell update. This update has brought a new map, livestock/villager stealing, and the VIP Druid class. Unfortunately, not everyone will get to play as the Druid in Chivalry 2, as only the best will earn the chance to wear the animal head.
How to Play as a Druid in Chivalry 2
To play as the Druid, you’ll first need to load into The Raid of Aberfell map, which is often randomly selected from a playlist. Once you load into the map, you’ll need to ensure that you are at the top of the leaderboard if your team starts to lose. If you’re one of the top people in the match, there’s a chance you’ll be spawned as a Mason Druid in the last losing phase of the map.
How to Rank Higher in Chivalry 2

In order to rank higher in The Raid of Aberfell map, you’ll need to play as a class and subclass you’re comfortable with. It will take some practice with a class before you are comfortable enough to get multiple kills with it, but it is possible. Once you’ve selected your class, make sure that you play the objective to get as many points as you can.
Getting kills will also be imperative if you rank higher on the scoreboard and become the Druid. Depending on your class, you’ll have to make sure you know how to maneuver and be familiar with the weapons. You may be able to get easier kills if you can find someone who’s distracted and attack them while their back is turned. You could also flank the enemy and hit them where they aren’t looking.
However you do it, you’ll need to make sure you’re at the top when you begin to lose. Then, as the other team starts winning objectives, make sure your name is as close to the top as possible. That’s all you need to know about playing as a Druid in Chivalry 2.
