Type Soul Stealing Bankai Complete Guide – How to Get Quincy Medallion

To steal a bankai, you must be a Quincy and obtain the Quincy Medallion, a special item that lets you snatch and wield a Soul Reaper’s bankai. Here’s how to get it:

How to Get the Quincy Medallion

The only way to get the Quincy Medallion is by achieving the Sternritter rank in PvP-ranked battles. This requires a significant time investment and skill, so be prepared for the long haul, but it is worth it. Once you reach Sternritter rank, you’ll automatically receive the Quincy Medallion. It’s unobtainable through any other means.

How to Use the Quincy Medallion

Once you have the Quincy Medallion, to use it, equip it in your inventory like any other item. There’s no need to go into your inventory repeatedly. Just equip it, so you’re holding it out in your hands and you should be good to go.

How to Steal a Bankai

To steal a Soul Reaper’s bankai, follow the steps:

  1. The Shinigami must be in bankai form.
  2. You must get hit by the target’s bankai.

Once done, you’ll know when it happens because an animation will take place of the Quincy holding the Quincy Medallion and absorbing the bankai into it. Mea,,,ning the Soul Reaper will no longer have their bankai powers, as their bankai has been transferred over to you.

For the Quincy, the stolen bankai will appear in a slot at the bottom of your screen, which gives you infinite use for 24 hours. You have the bankai until you leave the server, unequip it, or 24 hours have passed. Just press your hotkey to use your stolen bankai.

As a Soul Reaper attempting to use bankai, the message “No Response” will appear on your screen, and even meditating will cause your spirit realm to be completely calm and empty—completely void of your spirit.

Quincy Medallion Overview

  • Bankai Duration
    • Once stolen, the bankai remains in your possession until you leave the server, unequip the Quincy Medallion, or switch to a different character.
  • Potential Bugs
    • Currently, there might be a bug where the bankai steal doesn’t trigger immediately upon contact. If this happens, try hitting the target Soul Reaper with a move. Some reports also suggest temporary inability to use the stolen bankai.
  • Bankai Restrictions
    • Not all bankai can be stolen. Certain bankai, like Kyoka Suigetsu, are immune to the Quincy Medallion’s effects. Additionally, using the medallion can sometimes trigger glitches or unexpected behavior.
