Fortnite‘s newest game mode removed something that has been a staple in the game since day one. In Zero Build modes, players are forced to use what’s around them for cover or fight out in the open. This Chapter Three, Season Two addition quickly became popular among longtime players. Fortnite has introduced it as a new permanent mode, with a new event to celebrate.

In the Zero Build Trials, players will be tasked with getting hands-on experience with any new no-build modes. This guide will teach you how to complete the trials and earn in-game rewards.

How to complete the Fortnite Zero Build Trials

First, you’ll have to go to the Zero Build Trials website and sign up by connecting your Epic Games account. Then, each day leading up until April 10, players will have the opportunity to earn special sprays by getting a certain number of eliminations each day. There’s also a stretch goal that players can achieve and win the Boosted Groundsurfer Glider.

The first four days provide different sprays, with the reward on the last day giving all the sprays that players could not get in the days prior. The four Sprays in order of release are SMG Slone Spray, Flying Focus Spray, Wild Shot Spray, and Ready for Combat Spray. These feature different characters from the Imagined Order in active combat.

Fortnite first announced the Zero Build Trials in a tweet early this morning when the event started.

The event runs through the weekend, so players will have plenty of opportunities to get the Sprays later in the week. For the Sprays that players cannot get during the week, there will be an opportunity to claim all of the ones you missed this Sunday.

The Zero Build Trials event is similar to the different Cup competitions that Fortnite sponsors occasionally. Those competitions also give players points based on how many eliminations they can get in a match. Some even provide cosmetic rewards, such as the most recent Chloe Kim cup.

To get easy eliminations, head to crowded places early in the game. Locations like Tilted Towers and the Daily Bugle get lots of players at the start of the match, making them easy to pick off before they get geared up. However, you’ll likely be less than equipped, so it may be just as wise to wait until you get a few guns that you can switch between.
