How to unlock Macaron
To unlock Macaron, you’ll need to have completed the first three stages of the game. Then, you’ll learn about Macaron, their abilities, and how to call them into battle before you face the third boss in the game, Zanzo, as he is the only one capable of destroying Z-shielding armor!
How to use Macaron
You’ll call Macaron in by holding RT, while you can switch between characters to call in using LT. Macaron is used more for close combat than long range combat. When you call in Macaron, you will want to release RT when the two circles overlap to have him punch with full force.
You can use his punching ability against enemies but also to knock objects back. When you see an icon of him, you can get close and aim by holding RT and then release RT when the circles overlap to punch at full strength. Like Peppermint, Macaron can also knockback enemies that are lighter and allow you to focus on a main target.
Worth noting, Macaron takes longer to recharge than Peppermint, so you will want to use him only when necessary to ensure he is available when you really need him!
