The brand new Saints Row reboot has hit the Epic Games store and is quickly becoming one of the most played games on the client. If you read our Saints Row review, you know that there’s a ton to do in this new open-world crime sim. With so many features, challenges, side missions and hustles, an overwhelmed player might miss some key gameplay mechanics. While not immediately obvious, you can unlock fast traveling in Saints Row, which makes traversing the map a lot easier. In this guide, we’ll tell you how.

Once you’re done here, be sure to head to our guide on how to call cars in the game.

Unlocking Fast Travel in Saints Row

To unlock fast travel in Saints Row, you have to first visit one of the many striking locales in Santa Ileso. These areas are marked on your map as “Discoveries,” and are unique interactable locations that feature an iconic landmark in Santa Illeso.

Traveling to one of these Discoveries, you must then take a photo using the game’s photo mode. This photo will then be saved as a “Fast Travel Photo” and you will be able to travel to this location on the map.

Keep in mind that you can’t fast travel to any location on the Saints Row map, only these special Discoveries. Your HQ, the Saints Church, is one such Discovery that is automatically available to fast travel to after you unlock the location via the related mission.

That’s everything you need to know to unlock fast travel in Saints Row! If you liked this guide and want to see more, be sure to head to the Saints Row section of our website.
