Vampire Survivors is a shoot ’em up video game developed by Luca Galante. It features minimalistic gameplay and rogue-lite elements where you move thousands of night creatures and survive until dawn. The game features different modes that can change aspects of a run, which can change up your playstyle. How to unlock Hyper Mode
To unlock Hyper Mode, you’ll have to defeat a special enemy that spawns at the 25-minute mark in each Stage. For the Mad Forest, you’ll need to defeat the Giant Blue Venus. For the Inlaid Library, you’ll need to defeat the Hag. For the Dairy Plant, you’ll need to defeat the Sword Guardian. For Gallo Tower, you’ll need to defeat the Giant Crab. For Cappella Magna, you’ll need to defeat Trinacria.
Hyper Mode can also be unlocked for Bonus Stages. To unlock Hyper Mode for Il Molise, you’ll need to have unlocked Hyper Mode for at least one stage. To unlock Hyper Mode for Green Acres, you’ll need to unlock Hyper Mode for two stages. To unlock Hyper Mode for The Bone Zone, you’ll need to unlock Hyper Mode for three stages. To unlock Hyper Mode for Moongolow, you’ll need to have unlocked Hyper Mode for four stages.
In Hyper Mode, both player and enemies will move 65 to 75% faster, projectiles will be 15 to 25% faster, and gold will increase by 50%. Unlike other modes, the specific Stage will have different modifications or bonuses available in this mode as well.
There are a few different Modes in the game, which require unlocking before they can be enjoyed. These allow you to toggle the mode before you play a stage, and you can also enable Arcanas and Limit Break. You can also enable more than one mode to make it REALLY interesting!
