How to unlock Impossible Mode
To unlock Impossible Mode in the Dead Space Remake, you need to complete the game once in any other difficulty mode, including Easy. (You can also do so by completing the game set to Medium or Hard difficulty levels.)
In Impossible Mode, Necromorphs will be tougher to battle against as they will dodge and evade more of your attacks, while item drops will no longer be guaranteed. You will often feel like you are running out of or are low on resources, like ammo, so it will be a much more intense playing experience as far as combat goes.
