Disney Dreamlight Valley allows you to explore the magical world of Disney and build your dream neighborhood along famous Disney and Pixar characters in a life-sim adventure game. You’ll build up friendships, complete quests, and gather to create furnishings and recipes while playing the game. How to unlock Olaf
To unlock Olaf, you will start the quest chain The Great Blizzard, and the first step is to consult with Merlin, who will task you to discover the source of the enchanted blizzard that has started in Frosted Heights. You will need to search for clues in Frosted Heights before proceeding to interact with the wall of the cliff.
Merlin then will have you investigate the center of the enchanted blizzard, which is where you’ll see large double-doors inset into a cave. They will have unusual, glowing symbols on them. Here, you will discover Olaf with scary squirrels that have stolen his buttons and carrot nose!
You will have to chase down the Scary Squirrels and recover Olaf’s missing pieces. Once you have both his button and nose, you can return to the cave, interact with Olaf, and give him these items. He will then tell you to go talk to Elsa.
She will tell you to use your Watering Can and focus your magic near the Pillar. You’ll need to investigate the pillar, which is located east of the frozen river in Frosted Heights. Then, you can use your Watering Can on the sparkling water that is near the Pillar. After you return to Elsa to let her know about what you saw, she’ll have you return to Olaf’s cave to see if you can unlock any memories.
You will need to use your Watering Can on the sparkling water particles found inside Olaf’s cave. There are two of these; one is located to the right of Olaf, closest to him and the cave’s entrance; this is the one that will unlock the first memory. The second is located further back in the chamber and will unlock the second memory.
You need to locate a book, which is to the right of Olaf with a pile of books/scattered objects, that will help you learn more about portals. After talking to Olaf about the book, you will need to obtain 10 Glasses, 5 Purified Night Shards, and 3 Shattered Prisms (in the secret chamber). Once you have these materials, you can craft 1 Dreamlight Prism at the crafting station that will need to be placed on a pedestal in Olaf’s chamber.
You will need to place the following gems, in order, on the pillars: amethyst, citrine, and emerald. They need to be placed in rainbow-order. This will lead you to telling the Dark Portal a secret, and it will then give you one of Olaf’s arms. Finally, you’ll take the Orb to the Pillar in the center of the blizzard in Frosted Heights, and you’ll return to Olaf’s secret chamber to complete the quest.
You have now successfully unlocked Olaf, who will return to the Village and see how things have changed, and you will have reached level 2 with Olaf!
