Indie publishers Humble Games have officially announced which titles fans should expect for the upcoming Gamescom 2022 event. These include Moonscars, Midnight Fight Express, SIGNALIS, Ghost Song, INFINITE GUITARS, Unpacking, and Mineko’s Night Market.

Here’s the tweet from Humble Games’ feed, which adds that fans can find them in Hall 8 at booth A-039:

Humble Bundle, Inc. is a digital store for video games, dedicated to reasonably priced bundles. Based in San Fransisco, they also continue to champion indie devs through their small publishing arm Humble Games.

Their efforts to give smaller teams a voice could make a serious difference at Gamescom 2022, which is billed as “the world’s largest computer and video games event”.

Gamescom 2022 is scheduled to run between August 23rd, and August 28th, and has attracted other indie devs like Supermassive Games, which recently announced big surprises for The Devil in Me.

Humble Games titles breakdown

Moonscars is the first announcement, a nonlinear 2D side-scroller with scratchy, horror-driven art design. It’ll feature both hack-and-slash and platforming gameplay. Players assume the role of clayborne warrior Grey Irma, who must find “The Sculptor” to solve the mystery of her very existence.

Midnight Fight Express is next, an iso brawler from one of the writers of Destiny 2, where players use detailed martial arts combat to “prevent a citywide criminal takeover”.

SIGNALIS is a psychological survival horror game, where the technician “Replika” Elster searches for her partner and lost dreams. It combines old school computer gameplay with isometric level progression.

Ghost Song is a sci-fi Metroidvania adventure, where players explore the alien world Lorian V in search of answers and purpose.

INFINITE GUITARS is a rhythm-based RPG with some 2D exploration, and Unpacking is a block-fitting puzzle game that released last year. Finally, Mineko’s Night Market is a cute 2D adventure on an island full of cats, for those who need more after completing Stray.
