Mearth 2 is an action-adventure RPG game that is part of the Mearth universe from Icon Game Studio. In this next installment, you’ll join Princess Asteria as she attempts to escape from the continent she loves. You will experience harsh battles, dangerous roads, and many magical struggles on your journey.
While the official release date hasn’t been revealed, Mearth 2 is releasing Q1 2023, and there’s a free demo now available on Steam.

The storyline for Mearth 2 is quite interesting as you play Princess Asteria, who has completed her education at a monastery. She returns to her home country and discovers that her Virtuous Kingdom has been destroyed.
Unfortunately, she didn’t know that a sorcerer of the Saban Kingdom named Dragos had invaded her kingdom with his army. So, now, she’s trapped and alone. The game follows Asteria’s journey to get revenge on those who destroyed her kingdom.
The key features of this game include the following:
- Spells and magical weapons: You’ll need to use your magic powers and weapons to defeat your enemies.
- Stealthy executions: Some deaths require stealth. In Mearth 2, you can sneak up behind enemies and kill them.
- Define your playstyle: As there are many weapons and magical options for you to choose from, you can create your own playstyle to tackle the challenges ahead.
- Deadly enemies and bosses: There’s an abundance of enemies and bosses for you to fight, each with different characteristics and mechanics for you to dodge and, hopefully, defeat.
- Beautiful landscapes and dangerous roads: The beautiful structures will mesmerize you as you travel across the map, but beware of the roads, as they could be traps.
- Obstacles and puzzles: You must solve challenging puzzles and dodge obstacles as you progress through the cave storyline.
- Enjoy an immersive storyline: Explore the Mearth universe with Asteria as you battle against enemies in this dark and magical world.
