In Another World With My Smartphone is a fantasy isekai series written by Patora Fuyuhara and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka. After five years, the second season of this anime has been confirmed and will air in April 2023.

In the first season of In Another World With My Smartphone, God accidentally strikes down Touya Mochizuki. As an apology, God offers to grant Touya a wish and the chance to live in another world filled with magic. Touya accepts God’s offer and asks to keep his smartphone.
As Touya starts his new life in another world, he discovers his magical affinities. He gains the attention of five women while attempting to uncover the secrets of this world. The first season left fans hanging with the introduction of Babylon and the revelation of a dangerous threat that could destroy the entire world.
The In Another World With My Smartphone Season 2 anime will be directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki, known for his work on The Familiar of Zero F and We Never Learn!: BOKUBEN Season 2. The series composition will be handled by Hitomi Mieno, known for her work on Noragami Aragoto and Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2.
Even though it has been five years since the first season aired, the original Japanese voice actors will return for season 2. In addition to the new actors for the new characters. The voice actors for season 2 include:
- Marika Kouno will voice Yumina Urnea Belfast. Marika is known for her roles as Mimi Tachikawa from Digimon Adventure and Sacchan from Mitsuboshi Colors.
- Yui Fukuo will voice Linse Shileska. Yui is known for her roles as Cilia from By the Grace of the Gods and Komomo Saga from Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles.
- Miyu Takagi will voice Lucia Rea Regulus. Miyu is known for her role as Miyu Okamoto from Wake Up, Girls!
- Miyu Kubota will voice Sakura. Miyu is known for her roles as Karin Asaka from Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club and Sophie Houjou from Idol Time PriPara.
- Maaya Uchida will voice Elze Shileska. Maaya is known for her roles as Rikka Takanashi in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! and Norman in Finding Neverland.
- Chinatsu Akasaki will voice Yae Kokonoe. Chinatsu is known for her roles as Alice Nakiri from Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma and Shinka Nibutani from Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!
- Sumire Uesaka will voice Lean. Sumire is known for her roles as Hayase Nagatoro from Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro, and Shalltear Bloodfallen from Overlord.
- Yuu Serizawa will voice Hildegard Minas Lestia. Yuu is known for her roles as Iroha Igarashi from Real Girl and Shera L. Greenwood from How Not to Summon a Demon Lord.
- Katsumi Fukuhara will voice Touya Mochizuki. Katsumi is known for his roles as Yukiya Araki in W’z and Thoma Sauvy from 86.
