2022 has been a fantastic year for PlayStation, as it saw the release of record-breaking triple-A titles, such as God of War: Ragnarok. Regardless, the next year is going to be a huge one for PlayStation as well as it is stacked with a lineup of exciting releases. Among the most anticipated 2023 releases for PlayStation is the next game in the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise, Spider-Man 2.
Recently, developer Insomniac Games made a very exciting announcement in which they confirmed the release timeframe for the web-slinging sequel. In Fall 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on the PlayStation 5.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was initially announced in September 2021. It was revealed to follow the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. This upcoming action-packed installment of Marvel’s Spider-Man series will bring Peter Parker and Miles Morales together as the Spider-Duo. There is still a great deal that has not been disclosed about the game, but judging by the caliber of the previous two titles, fans can be certain that they will be presented with an amazing new original Spider-Man adventure.

In addition to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, PlayStation will bring both new and remastered titles in the following year. These games include Forspoken, Hogwarts Legacy, Destiny 2: Lightfall, Resident Evil 4, and Final Fantasy XVI. Furthermore, highly anticipated new pieces of hardware such as the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller and the PlayStation VR2 are expected to be available in 2023.
