Publisher Microids has officially announced Inspector Gadget – Mad Time Party, an upcoming party game based on the animated science fiction comedy franchise Inspector Gadget.

Developed by Smart Tale Games, Inspector Gadget – Mad Time Party immerses players in the iconic world of Inspector Gadget. It is set to be released in Fall 2023, in physical and digital versions on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam.

Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party takes place in the same setting as the original series, allowing players to interact with beloved characters including Chief Quimby, Penny, and the M.A.D. agents. Players will take on the role of the iconic Inspector Gadget as they go on an action-packed journey to save Metro City from the hands of Dr. Claw. Players may work together with up to 4 friends, and use the various gadgets of the Inspector to fight the M.A.D. forces.

In Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party, the Metro City has fallen under the control of the evil Dr. Claw. In order to save the city, Inspector Gadget must use a time machine to go back in time. Unfortunately, the machine begins to break down, and the inspector’s ancestors are brought forward in time. As such, players will be tasked with exploring Metro City and confronting Inspector Gadget’s ancestors to recover the missing parts of the machine. In addition, players will need to solve mini-game quests to unlock the bolts needed to repair the machine.

Inspector Gadget – Mad Time Party features an Adventure Mode, in which players must complete quests and challenges. There are also sixteen different entertaining minigames to choose from, all of which are based on the Inspector Gadget world, such as Count Them All, My Precious, and Pass the Bomb. It also boasts an incredible soundtrack by Tanis Chalopin, the daughter of Inspector Gadget’s creator, Jean Chalopin.
