Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) is one of the top games for 2023. Thanks to Microsoft’s acquisition of the publisher for Call of Duty, Activision, it has left room for many to speculate about Game Pass. Most of Microsoft’s games have ended up on Game Pass and many are wondering if MW3 will follow suit.

Below we have all of the information we know on whether Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming to Game Pass.

Is CoD MW3 coming to Xbox or PC Game Pass?

Yes, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will likely come to both Xbox and PC Game Pass. This seems almost confirmed by Microsoft in a tweet from October 13, 2023, which stated that the company is “working to bring Activision Blizzard’s iconic and groundbreaking games to Xbox Game Pass.”

However, it’s important to note that MW3 will not be available on Game Pass on its launch day, November 10, 2023. Activision Blizzard has stated that they expect to start adding their games to Game Pass “sometime in the course of next year.”

This is a pretty vague tweet, but it is likely a way to keep players from asking for anything too early. Call of Duty is definitely a huge series that Microsoft wants to bring to its library of games, so we expect to see it soon. It just makes sense because it’s cheaper for gamers in the short term to pay for a subscription model, but that makes it more profitable for Microsoft in the long run.

If you’re hoping to play MW3 on Game Pass, you’ll have to wait a little while. The good news is that it is almost guaranteed to be coming, and it will be a great addition to the subscription service. We really have no doubt that it’s coming, but we always want to wait for Microsoft to be sure.
