Kamisato Ayato is the latest 5-star playable character in Genshin Impact. He is the head of the Kamisato clan and the older brother of Ayaka. Unlike his sister, Ayato is a Hydro vision holder who wields a sword weapon. Ayato’s long-awaited character Banner finally made its debut as part of the 2.6 update’s first phase. Kamisato Ayato – Talents, Artifact, and Weapon
To make the most of Ayato’s potential, you must know which of his Talents is best to prioritize. Ayato’s Elemental Skill, Kamisato Art: Kyouka, allows him to change stance and enter the Takimeguri Kanka state, in which his Normal Attacks are converted to AoE Hydro DMG. During the change stance, Ayato will attack very rapidly. After the change stance, he will leave a watery illusion in his original position. The watery illusion will explode once its duration ends or if any opponents are close to it, dealing AoE Hydro DMG. Meanwhile, Ayato’s Elemental Burst, Kamisato Art: Suiyuu, creates a blue circle where the Bloomwater Blades will rain down, dealing Hydro DMG on enemies inside the circle and increasing the Normal Attack DMG of characters within. Ayato’s damage appears to be largely dealt with through his Elemental Skill. As such, prioritize leveling up his Elemental Skill with his Talent Ascension Materials.
For Ayato’s Artifact build, a 4-piece of Echoes of an Offering is recommended for raising his chance by 36% to increase Normal Attack Damage by 70% of ATK. You may also use a 4-piece of Heart of Depth which gives a 15% Hydro DMG bonus and increases Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 30% for 15 seconds. Echoes of An Offering might be a better option since Ayato primarily uses Normal Attacks. Meanwhile, Ayato’s best Artifact stats for Sands of Eon is ATK%, Hydro DMG Bonus for Goblet of Eonothem, and CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG Circlet of Logos. For the Artifacts’ substats, it must include Energy Recharge, CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, ATK%, and HP%.
The best weapon for Kamisato Ayato is Haran Geppaku Futsu, which is only available from the time-limited weapon Banner. The Haran Geppaku Futsu sword is a 5-star weapon that gives a12% all Elemental DMG bonus and has an additional 7.2% CRIT Rate substat. As an alternative, you may also use another 5-star sword weapon, Primordial Blade Cutter, which provides an ATK bonus based on Ayato’s 1.2% max HP and a 9.6% CRIT Rate substat.
